iPhone X - SIM Unlocked or not?

I bought an iPhone X (AT&T) at Apple Store for the full price.


Now I see beginning today, Apple has officially started selling UNLOCKED phones.


Is there ANY REASON AT ALL that I would consider giving back my fully paid iPhone X (AT&T) to Apple for an unlocked one, or is my phone also unlocked since I paid in full?
