iOS 11 and UDP/49153

Dear All,

I have an application which run well with iOS 10.x.

Now it doesn't run with iPhone 7, iOS 11.

I found that UDP/49153 is in used.

Are there any people can point out which application is used this port?

Thanks you

Replies

Just use another port or allow a new one to be automatically selected.

Thanks iTen for your reply!

Unfortunately, this port is decided by remote device which I can't changed it.

It’s definitely not an application because I see this behaviour on a test device here in my office, and that has no apps installed. I suspect it’s being reserved by the system, but I’ve no idea what for.

I may need be able to learn more about this but I’ll need a bug number first. Please file a bug and then post the number here.

Thanks eskimo.

Just add more information. This port just is in used in case the phone has SIM card.

If we remove the SIM card, the port is free.

I reported here https://bugreport.apple.com/web/?problemID=35661701

Sorry for first time use Bug Reporter

Best regards

Interesting.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately most of Apple is shut down for this week for the US Thanksgiving holiday, so I won’t be able to learn anything until next week at best.

I also confirmed that the application using UDP / 49153 at iOS 11 does not work. I am using iPhone 6s.

However, I found that the app works in the following way.

- Unplug SIM card from iPhone

- Set to Airplane Mode, then release Airplane Mode
