Adding HealthKit to an existing app

is it possible to add HealthKit to an existing app and publish it to the app store? Or I must to create a new one?

Might help to describe the app itself, but I'm not aware of any general restrictions that prohibit adding HK to an existing app outright - see this link on 'HomeKit' and 'existing'
