I'm trying to learn Swift and I'm interested in what would be considered the modern stack for iOS apps. I've been learning SceneKit for a couple of days and I don't think that there is hardly any adoption of that one.. I know that there is SpriteKit(seems to be just for 2D games), Cocoa, CocoaTouch, Swift / Obj-C(how necessary is it to get good at Obj-C nowadays?), interface builder, etc. I'm looking for a general sense of what is included in the modern app stack, let's say general apps, not games, so that I can focus my study.
