Open SMS IOS 11 with HTML

Hi!


I have a problem because I used this html to open SMS in IOS 11:

<a href="sms:1-408-555-1212">New SMS Message</a>


When I click the link the first time, it opens the SMS and only shows me a list of messages, I have to give it a second time, click the link to show me the message to be sent.

Any luck on this one?


We're seeing the same issue with SMS url scheme links where parameters aren't passed on the initial attempt.

Retry works, perhaps because the Messages app is already running at that point. Tried 11.0.3 and 11.1.1.
