Xcode 9 SVN Support?

In Xcode 9 there doesn't appear to be any way of checking out an SVN repository. The repos I already had checked out when I upgraded from Xcode 8 to 9 still work (commit, update, etc...), but they're no longer listed in the Accounts section of preferences.

Am I missing something? How can I access Subversion in Xcode 9?

Replies

We are missing something. When selecting an SVN branch to checkout it never asks for the location of where to place the checked out project. It doesn't work the way it used to in Xcode 8.3. Perhaps SVN support has been dropped in favor of Git?

Thanks,

Neal

It looks like Subversion has been dropped in favor of Git 😟 Going from Xcode 7 to 9, I don't even have commit, update, or any of these uptions.

Our company uses Subversion for all of our projects, so this is bad for us. We are a small company, not everone is able to upgrade to the latest and greatest.

Is it the same for XCode 10 Beta ?

Will Apple add SVN support in the RC version
