in app purchase commissions issue

Our concern is as follows: We have business clients who are not happy with 30% commissions on in app purchase sale and they are eager to know if there is any way apple provides to reduce this commission percentage? Our IAP product type is consumable and our product is also available on other platform like web as well where the commission is much less as compared to iTunes. Now we are wondering if there is any way to discuss about commission on in app purchase with apple and which channel / medium shell we use to discuss this matter?

There is no negotiation. You either agree to the terms and get to use the iOS ecosystem, or you don't. The one exception in reducing the 30% cut is for auto-renewable subscriptions. If a user keeps their a subscription from your app for at least a year, the percentage Apple takes is reduced.

If you are operating as a 'reader app' then you can avoid IAP. Otherwise, no, 30% is the fee apple charges for the use of its Xcode platform and App Store distribution and billing system.

what do you mean by a reader app?

See the ASRGs: “Reader” Apps

Means that digital content (video/audio/text etc.) can be 'read', consumed/viewed on different/multiple platforms/devices, and your iOS app is only used for that purpose, not for composing/editing or otherwise managed, etc.
