WatchOS 4.1 beta update offered to unprofiled watches

As of this morning we've discovered the WatchOS 4.1 beta has been downloaded and readied for install for several WatchOS 4.0 watches that do not have a developer profile associated paired to iPhones on 11.0.1 that also do not have any developer profile installed.

If you want to get past the developer betas to the full release version, just go through the installation steps, and then the full release of watchOS 4.1 (released today) will show up.


From another topic I just replied on:

The Watch app on my iPhone (iOS 11.1 release, not beta) was still showing 4.1 Developer Beta, so I tapped to download and install it. It didn't actually download anything, and showed me an error saying I should install the latest version. I tapped "Open App" on that alert, and it now shows the full release version of watchOS 4.1.


A few minutes later, and my Apple Watch now has the release version of 4.1.


TL;DR: Go through the process of attempting to install the beta, and the full release version will show up.
