Unable to create a sticker pack in xcode9

I have created a sticker pack in previous version of xcode and everythibg worked fine.


I decided to test it on my Iphone7 and to do that the system forced me to upgrade my Mac and xcode to xcode9


My sticker project was upgraded to xcode9 and after that I start receiving strange errors that are listed below.

I tried to create even sticker pack from scratch but the same issues.


I do not know what is the problem but creating a sticker pack should not require the development skills at all. So I think that there are some bugs in xcode 9 as before the same project worked fine.


Can anyone help with these errors. The simulator just crashes

This helped me

MobileSMS crashes on simulator


What worked for me: clicking on the white elipses icon, selecting "edit," and then manually enabling our extension. After doing that, the extension launches from Xcode without issue.

Error1 is just a warning, without consequence. You can usually ignore it.


Did the same solution work for you ?

If so, it would be useful to post a bug report.

Hi, I don't see that ellipse icon. I'm looking at the menu (I'm assuming that it's there???)


there's a play button / a stop button / then the list of sticker pack extensions....

I've clicked on thh list of extensions and the only edit button I see is for editing a scheme.


I've tried adding my iPad by clicking on "Add Additional Simulators", to no avail. Running my sticker pack this way still makes everything crash.


Where can I find this elusive ellipses icon.


Your tips are much appreciated.

I'm having the same issue. I can run the sticker pack fine on my iPhone, but when I try to run it in the simulator, the simulator crashes. This only started happening after I upgraded to Xcode 9.
