I'm wondering if anyone else is seeing this on iOS10. You turn on Developer mode in Settings (once Xcode downloads to the App you'll see this option) and then click on Network Link Conditioner, set it for Very Bad Network, and switch the Enable to YES. Now the iPhone is in Bad Network mode, for us we do a lot of testing under these circumstances, and what we see is the device will send packets along with some bad packets and then eventually it will go into perpetual bad network mode, where all packets are bad. Once in this mode, it never comes out. To get it out of this mode, you have to turn off Bad Network mode, kill the App, and restart it, then the network layer comes back.
