Clarification on Business Chat CSPs

Can a business host its own private CSP? Or does it need to use a publicly available CSP on Apple's approved list (Salesforce, Genesys, etc)?

Same question here. The documentation is inconsistent about this.


"You will need to select an approved Customer Service Platform (CSP) during registration in order to use Business Chat." https://developer.apple.com/documentation/businesschat/registering_for_business_chat


vs.


"The server exchanges messages with the business by way of a Customer Service Platform (CSP), which is a web service implemented by the business or a third party."
