Unable to pair Apple Watch with iPhone. (33893264)

Hi,


I'm unable to pair my Apple Watch Series 0 (that's been factory reset many times) with my iPhone 7 Plus.

The Apple Watch is running watchOS 4 beta 4.

I've tried pairing with an iPhone 7 Plus running iOS 11 betas 5 - 10, and it's failed each time.

I've tried doing the automatic pairing and manual pairing.

Also tried restoring from a backup and setting up as a new Apple Watch.


It gets stuck connecting to the Apple Watch after the Apple Watch finishes setting the language.


For some reason trying to remove the watch from my Apple ID devices list also seems to fail.

Removing Apple Pay from the watch is stuck on "pending".


Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Removing the Apple Watch from my Find My iPhone account was the fix for this.

Given it was reset as part of the failed software update and not through the settings app it wasn't automatically removed from Find My iPhone.

Even though it was the same Apple ID it still caused it to fail to pair.

I have the Apple Watch Series 1 and I have the same issue, it is really annoying because I don´t get notifications anymore.. I have iOS 11 Beta 10 and watchOS 4 Beta...


I also would be thankful for any answers 🙂
