My Apple ID has been compromised and I can't access anything apple, until now. How do I circumvent the 14 day recovery period and change the ID on my iPad Pro to the ID I am able to access?

I can't get my iPad re activated. I'm trying account recovery for what I thought was the ID I used to originally activate my iPad. It now says there is a 14 day wait. I'd like to ensure my ID hasn't been compromised, which is a possibility. I've only got my Solo3 headphones and my iPad. is it possible to reactivate my iPad with one of the 2 IDs? I'm not sure what to do.
