Without anything more to go on, I'd guess at a RAM fault. It would be worthwhile to run the hardware diagnostics cycle (hold the d key at bootup):

Have you re-downloaded the DP1 package from the App Store Purchases tab to make sure that the problem isn't being caused by a bad download.

If so, please provide more details as to exactly when in the install process the kernal panic is triggered and any log that it spits out.

Good afternoon Max108

I'm trying to install OSX El Capitan BETA 1 ('m developers). So I come to see the problem that I had to install OSX EL CAPITAN BETA 1.

I tried to install OSX said in my iMac mid 2010, the installation goes well, but not enough finish, or ERROR. Kernel Panic. I have done everything already researched in all sides and nothing, all tell me to do the same, Start the iMac carries the D button to start up with the Apple Hardware Test or the Apple Diagnostic, depending on the iMac to use, and yet, I can not make the diagnosis, the OSX starts normally and no diagnosis. So I try to do + D option, which is the start of the diagnosis over the Internet, and still can not, that is, it starts and tries oo diagnosis and then says that the computer is not supported. Will I have to format the drive? Am I having trouble RAM ?. Thank you for your attention and if possible your help.

Thank you very much,

I am experiencing the same error when upgrading from PB3 to PB4. Have no trouble booting into Safe Mode, I've also ran the hardware test with no errors found.

i too am getting this same panic screen.

Hi Ricky,

If you still have this issue, could you please start your own thread (start here: OS X 10.11 beta)

Although the symptoms (kernel crash) may be the same, the causes are different because of different pre-installed 3rd party software, and each case needs to be diagnosed individually. This gets confusing with multiple people in one thread.

Thanks,

Max.
