iphone 7+ display dims randomly

Even though "Auto Brightness" is turned off in settings and the brightness slider is turned all the way up, My screen dims about 40% after a few seconds into an app and when I'm outside- someitmes I cant even see my screen. Any ideas?

Had the problem since beta 1, and now beta 2 as well. Very hard to see the screen outside in regular daylight.

May be due to a service crash or a ressource crash. Reboot the device to see if the behaviour continue.
