Password protected non-commercial pdf?

Hi, thank you for releasing the HAP spec for non-commercial use. You have provided a PDF version which requires a password to allow copy & pasting. Was this intentional? Allowing copy & paste will help us develop 3rd party integration kits (eg., nodeJS based hobbyist integration libraries) by using the same terminology from the spec.

Thanks!

I'm just guessing, but it might have something to do with section 1 of the license agreement.

I agree. I'd also appreciate a PDF I could load into iBooks to sync with my iPad.

Hi, open the PDF in Chrome (59.0.3071.115) and print to PDF under Mac OS (10.12.5) to save a version which is open to copy & paste. Thanks.

I was incorrect. The current password protected PDF allows syncing via iBooks. I just had iCloud configured incorrectly.
