Arriving early on Saturday

Hey, I'm already arriving on the 02. June in San Jose and therefore will sleep in a hotel for the first night. However, since i want to do some sightseeing on Saturday, I wanted to know if I can get the keys for my room already at 8 or 9 in the morning. If not, will there be a possibility to bring by my luggage so I don't have to carry it around the whole day? Best, Klemens
