Ok,
I don't know if this is possible, but here goes:
If you open the stock Maps app, set it to 3D and zoom out completely, you get this beautiful view of the earth showing day/night areas. Is it possible to achieve this within my app. I just want to show the same map, with reasonable zooming, for my location in my app
