Hi, our Mac application update has not been reviewed for 8 days now. We have discovered a critical bug in our application, developed and update that fixes this issue and submitted an update (asking for an expedited review that was approved). Could this be some kind of a glitch? When contacting Apple (email/phone) we get a response that everything is normal. Overall we can't get our app update reviewed in over a month now:
We first submitted an update on December 30, 2016 - after waiting till January 17, 2017 (the update wasn't reviewed for more than 2 weeks) we rejected this update thinking that this should be some kind of a glitch (we had translated our application's description to 7 languages and we thought that this could be the problem). As I previously mentioned we have submitted our latest update on Jan 25, 2017 (only English version, no translations) and we are still waiting for it to get in review ("waiting for review").
Is there anything that we could do in this situation? The biggest problem is that users who purchase a buggy version of our app leave bad reviews (which is expected in such situation) on the Mac App store and this really hurts the reputation of our app.
