Really would like a technical answer equivalent to: Technical Q&A (QA1686) [App Icons on iPad and iPhone Q]: How are the icon files in my application bundle used on iPad and iPhone?, but for launch images.
In order to use UILaunchImages key correctly in Info.plist, need all required info (UILaunchImageMinimumOSVersion, UILaunchImageSize) as well as the pixel size. Currently, there is no such documentation AFAIK, which is odd.
