To test code signing I have been using a sandbox test user. I build and archive my Mac OS Application. I verify it and then export it as a development-signed application. When I launch it, it quits with error 173. Then The OS re-launches it with a valid receipt and asks me for the Apple ID of my Sandbox test user. When I enter this the app runs. This allows me to verify my signing code before I submit the app to iTunes Connect.
This has stopped working. Now nothing happens after my app quits with error 173. I haven't done anything like change my project's build settings that should change this. In iTunes Connect my sandbox test user doesn't appear in the Users pane. If I try to add a new user the iTunes site reports an error, Sorry but this function is broken, try later.
I would like to trouble shoot this but I can't find a guide to this on developer.apple.com.
Could anyone suggest what might be wrong or provide a link to an article on how to do this?
