Which version Xcode?
Building from the command line?
Archive succeed but while export for app store getting : " No provisioning profile matches for ...... "
My concern is while generating archive it checks bundle ID with provisioning profile bundle ID and if matches then it generate archive. Then why giving error while export.
Yes, generating archive from command line.
Yes, I have seen.
I am using this
xcodebuild -exportArchive -exportFormat ipa -archivePath "/Users/username/Desktop/MyiOSApp.xcarchive" -exportPath "/Users/username/Desktop/MyiOSApp.ipa" -exportProvisioningProfile "MyCompany Distribution Profile"
It's working fine for another build Enterprise. For App store, it failed.
Are there chances of issue with code or issue with provisioning profile only. Any idea?
The original error can mean:
- profile does not exist
- profile does not exist at that path
- existing profile at that path isn't the one expected
- profile is malformed...
- file type
- xml error
- corrupted file
- profile name is incompatible...
- right way, wrong name
- disallowed special chars
- hidden extra chars/space at either end, etc.
- profile is open in other application
- file permissions on profile prohibit access
- path permissions prohibit access
- any combo of above
>MyCompany Distribution Profile
I realize that name is obfuscated, but at this point, that's not wise - either copy exact, or I understand why you can't show/tell. In any case, I would keep the profile name(s) short with no spaces or uppercase. Example: mcdistp001.[suffix]
As well, store signing is it's own animal, so I'd not put too much trust in working Enterprise examples. Review those SO threads, move to Xcode 7.3.1 and good luck. Sorry I can't help more...not a fan of cl builds.
Thanks KMT. Will check with my Technial manager.
