Xcode 8 Beta download but not in Applications

So I downloaded xcode 8 beta. It goes in my downlaoded folder. I run it and it launches. But I dont see it in my application forlder. So it wont go there? I have to run it from the downloaded folder which looks to be an installer and will run though the installation every time? For the time being I docked the beta to my dock but want to know how do i get to see it in the applications folder?
