Screen does not turn on after waking from sleep.

Having an issue where the screen does not display anything after waking up from sleep by opening the lid. There is output to external monitors, just nothing on the internal moniter. MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015), anyone else having this problem?

Yes am having this since May, late 2013 retina mbpro, geniuses just reinstalled OS said hardware tests fine, very frustrating.

I also have this issue... Nov 2016 15" MBP w/ touch bar. It started with the last update to Sierra. I upgraded to High Sierra beta, but the issue remains. I've removed all third party kernel extensions (I only had 1), SMC reset and NVRAM reset... the machine still locks up after trying to (re)start after sleeping.
