Hi, I got a problem to download XCode 7 from https://developer.apple.com/xcode/downloads/
When I click on download link, web site redirect me on my Apple ID Manager.
Anyone had this experience?
I seem to recall a post where the Apple ID needed its E-mail address verified.
You could check to see if that is the issue.
This just happened to me after apple required me to update my apple id password. (I've add an account for years)
After doing this, on trying to download xcode, I got into the same endless re-direct loop.
I clicked to resend email verfication (athough I'm sure it already was verified) and after doing this, I can download xcode betas again...
I had this same issue. Cannot download anything from developer.apple.com without being redirectd to developer.apple.com/apple-id/ where is shows everything in my apple id was verfied.
Here is what finally worked:
1. Log on to appleid.apple.com
2. Verify with 2 factor authentication code
3. Go to the SECURITY tab
4. In the NOTIFICATION EMAIL section, I clicked change Email address
5. I provided a new email address
6. I verified the new email address with the code that was emailed
7. I repeated this step with my previously used email address
8. I could download files again.
You probably can just delete the email address and then add the same email and verify it, but this is how i did it.
Hope this helps someone not waste 3 hours on this like I did, and 1 hour on hold and wasted conversations with useless Apple Support Employees.
