Safari on Sierra no plugins or extensions

Plugins and extensions stay installed only for the current session. Once the browser is exited and restarted, all plugins and extensions are missing.

Having the same issue. Happens every time. Repeatable, no exceptions.

I reinstalled AdBlock Plus and Cleaner for Facebook 5.1.0 and they persist after closing and relaunching Safari. I've also performed a complete reboot since I installed them without an issue.


When you click the More Extensions button it carries you to the App Store...these don't come from there. Got them from the usual Apple website for extensions.
