Apple Magic Mouse issue

After installing El Capitan my Apple Magic Mouse point and click works but no longer scrolls. Any fix?

S'okay, a reboot fixed it.

Mine not works even after reboot....... Is there any one here that have any idea to solve this?....

Have just opened a bug for that in radar.

Here's my situation: After my daughter had dropped my magic trackpad, the button was kind of hard to unpress. So when the cursor stopped moving, I kind of thought, ok, that's it now. Bought a new one. Connected it with the macbook off the external (27'' TB) display. All fine. Put it on the display, mouse working fine. Fiddling with some other stuff, at some point disabled rootless for some more fiddling, rebooted.

Mouse cursor no longer moves.

Ok nice. So logged in using keyboard. Keyboard-only navigated to system settings. Uncoupled and re-coupled the mouse. Not working.

Took the macbook off the 27'' screen, opened it. Mouse works, trackpad too.

Nice.

So figured out that I've to actually disable sleep (using e.g. insomnia) for being able to connect it back to the screen.

Note: This may be related to disabling rootless. Not yet tried.
