Finder Sync icons on external devices

Hi everyone,


We want to use the Finder Sync on virtual drives that we mount using fuse.

We were able to set the path to any folder and this worked. But when we tried to set the rootpath on something that was mounted via fuse and then it didn't work anymore.


Does anyone know if this is possible, and so how?

We place all our mountpoints under '/Volumes/Fileservers'


If we use '/Volumes/Fileservers' as root for Finder Sync it doesn't work. If we use '/Volumes/Fileservers/mountpoint' it does.

The problem is that we have multiple mountpoints...
