can't open i-Ad program tool

Question

Hi

I am trying to open the downloaded program for iAd Producer Tool to create ads and it says 'cannot open file - file extension not recognized'

Is this the right version for Windows 7?

It has a .dmg extension which the computer does not recognize.

I don't believe the tool is supported on windows...

Software and Hardware Requirements

OS X 10.10.4 Yosemite or later
iBooks Author support requires iBooks Author 2.0 or later, iBooks (iOS) 4.3, and iBooks (OS X) 1.1.1 or later
Preview in iOS Simulator requires iOS 9.0 SDK or later. iOS 9 SDK is included with Xcode.
Preview on an iOS device requires iOS 9.0 or later.

File extention .dmg means "damaged" and cannot be used by Windows computers.

File type .dmg means Disk iMaGe, and is macOS-centric.
