[BUG REPORT] When playing audios on ios 9.2, the first second of audio is skipped on Apple TV

Hello,

We have found a bug on iOS 9.2, which can be reproduced on multiple apps, including Apple's official voice memo.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open voice memo, record a message for at least one second, or use any app that plays a sound longer that one second
  2. Connect to apple tv using airplay
  3. Play the audio, the first second is skipped, audio playing resumes after the first second. (Note that it is not a delay of one second, but the first part of the audio is skipped)
  4. Pause the audio, wait for ten seconds, resume playing. Audio playing only resumes after another second.

What should happen: Audio should play from the very start

Instead, there is a skip of one second that disrupts normal app usage. We also tested that, It does not matter whether the device connects to apple tv using bluetooth or wifi.

This bug happens on iOS 9.2 (iPad/iPhone) when playing audio files while connected to apple tv using screen mirroring, and can even happen when playing videos non-fullscreen.

Occasionally, when playing audios multiple times continuously this bug temporarily disappears. But after a wait of ten seconds, the bug will reproduce again.

On iOS 9.0 and 9.1, there is a skip of about 0.2 seconds that can be ignored.

Tested devices:

iphone 6p/iphone6s/ipad mini2 ver iOS 9.2

appletv a1469 ver 7.2(7512)
