Promo codes no longer work across regions. I used to be able to have my app be in austrailia and generate promo codes and distribute them to people in the USA and they could download the app. This is no longer possible and you now get "This product is not available in the U.S. Store" I found the documentation on promo codes and this is the "intended" behavior, but it makes our life harder. https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/documentation/LanguagesUtilities/Conceptual/iTunesConnect_Guide/Chapters/ProvidingPromoCodes.html
What is Apples strategy if you want to give an editor exclusive access to a build that is in austrialia so he can write an article that will go hand in hand with the US launch? I don't want to use testflight beta because I want him to download approved live builds not something in current development.
