I just tried to update my phone ( from iOS 9.1 ) to 9.2 beta 2 , I down loaded the correct file for a iPhone 6 but when I do the restore iPhone it says could not be restored because the firmware file is not compatible, so does that mean my file is corrupt and I just need to download it again or is there a problem with the phone? Thanks
Did you try update instead of restore whith holding the alt key (OS X) or shift (Windows) while clicking on it in iTunes?
You also could install the public beta profile for an over the air update. It's the same build. You just have to delete the profile after that and you will get the next developer update when it's available.

All I just tried this , I downloaded IOS 9.2 beta 2 again and this time I had no problems with the update, so I guess yesterday when I did the download it got corrupt somewhere ( or didn't extract correctly) .
