Purchased the new Magic Mouse 2 today upon release.
It does not appear to be compatible with the current OS X v10.11 beta.
The pointer moves as does left/right click, however scrolling and other "magic" features do not work.
10.11 isnt beta anymore.. please you should install the Release-Version from the App-Store... and try again...
And FWIW, the new 21.5" and 27" Retina iMacs come standard with OSX 10.11 and the Magic Mouse 2. I'm guessing if it didn't work they wouldn't be shipping them.
I have the exact same issue. Magic Mouse 2 & Track Pad 2 do not work correctly with 10.11. Both can click but no gesture or scrolling work on either.
Works perfectly with OSX 10.11.1 Beta 4 build 15B38b
