Can you quickly build and run on an AppleTv (4th gen)?

With xCode you can quickly build and run your APPs on your iPad or iPhone when you got the lightning cable connected. Does anyone know already if this is possible on the Apple Tv (4), or how does this work?

Exactly the same. You connect to the new Apple TV using the included USB-C cable, select the device as destination in Xcode, then build and run your app.

included cable? mine didn't came with USB-C cable.

2nd round ATV kits, as noted in the fine print by Apple and as you found, do not come with the required USB-C to A cable (as opposed to the 1st rond which did). It's up to you to obtain one - I'd also recommend to get an HDMI cable as well.


Note the two cable solution bouncing around is proving to be a mistake, so don't waste time w/it.
