Xcode 7 beta 5 requires OS X 10.10.4?

Xcode 7 beta 5 requires 10.10.4, not as described in the Release Notes?

I could not run it on 10.10.3 .

The release note is not up to date, the new mininum supported version of OS X is 10.10.4 (as it contains fixes that are very important to Xcode). Why is it important for you to stay on 10.10.3?

Confirm, same issue. It is very important for us to be able to run Xcode 7 beta 5 on 10.10.3. Can it be fixed please?

Some people cannot just upgrade to the next version of OSX without IT approving the upgrade. There are also build environments which need to be upgraded as well to change the version of OSX. This should have been done during Xcode 7 beta 1 if it was needed for the release. You set an expectation with the minimum needed development environment in the minimum specs for Xcode 7 beta 1 and that should have been all that was needed until iOS 9 GA and Xcode 7 GA were both released.

Release notes also being up to date help developers react to the needed build environment changes without needing to install it on their computers first. If they were up to date I would have had our build envionments upgraded earlier and submitted the needed items to IT for approval earlier. Any jump start helps out.

This was not done in a very professional manner and the response of why this would be important completely ignores constraints placed on developers in most work environments.

The reason for why Xcode 7 didn't originally require OS X 10.10.4 is that Xcode 7 beta 1 shipped before OS X 10.10.4. The release note should have had the correct information. This will be addressed in an upcoming update.
