Xcode Performance

I'm new to this programming platform and I'm trying to follow the Landmark tutotial with a lot of issues and fructration. I must be doing something wrong. It's extremely SLOW and ERRATIC. A preview can take up to 10 minutes, end up with a failure and try again, and eventually finished after a few try agains. Any comments? Is it that my Mac mini is to slow?

Which version of XCode ?


Take care, Landmark tutotial is known to have been very buggy, and not compatible between different versions of SwiftUI.


If you search these forum with Landmark keyword, you will find plenty of indormation. Such as:

But I would advise not to loose to much time on this buggy sample code.

Depends....which model, how much ram, how much free space on the SSD? Otherwise, and in any case, Claude is right about that tut.


Might be interesting if you test your IDE by creating a new project via an Xcode template and see how it performs.
