I’m working on an Xcode Carplay app that should access car speed and fuel information. I tried to search everywhere in the Internet, but haven’t found anything related.
It all depend on car manufacturer to provide or not those informations.
For the speed, you can compute yourself, but for fuel, you need cooperation from car (any computed estimate would be too much riskiy).
Only option would be to have a button that you press when you fill the tank… or analyse photo of fuel gauge… Not exactly what you were looking for.
