Crash with ExternalAccessory endSession error

I'm working with a Mavic drone with its radio controller (RC) connected to an iPad Pro 11 inch running iOS 13.3.1 and sometimes if the RC is unplugged from the iPad our app will crash with an error in ExternalAccessory endSession, as shown in this screenshot. Is there any way I can trap this error to keep it from crashing my app?

Given that no one has chimed in, my advice is that you open a DTS tech support incident and discuss this with our EA specialist.
