This is a question about the Bonjour exam for AirPrint certification pass.

I ran the Apple Guided BCT (Bonjour Conformance Test) program on a MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015 / Catalina).


The result is Failed in INITIAL PROBING.


I clearly confirmed that it works from Mac OS and Windows 10 to printing through Bonjour.

We confirmed that it works from iPhone to AirPrint.


Apple's Open Source cups and mdnsd (mDNSResponder-878.270.2) do not think it will fail.

What was your test environment? The simplest way to fail the test is to know follow the specific configuration instructions, as the test relies on a very quite and "idle" network in order to get reliable results.
