Expiring builds is not removing them from TestFlight

As the title says, I have expired a load of builds and they havent disapeared from testflight. I'm also having an issue with new builds not appeariing in TestFlight. Any ideas why app store connect and TestFlight may not be syncing properly? I've waited a couple of hours and have tried re-adding myself to the test but no luck.
