Can you use NSPersistentCloudKit container to share data between multiple versions of your app ?

As I wrote in the title I wonder whether or not you can use NSPersistentCloudKit to share data between multiple versions of your app like the iPhone app and the different iPad or Mac app ? Thanks in advance !
