Have it become impossible to restore firmware of T2 security chip
installed Mac by using Apple Configurator2 ?
We expected that there is latest firmware for T2 security chip
installed iMac Pro and we tried to restore firmware by the specific
procedure with Apple Configurator 2.
However, it abnormally ended with the following error.
"(AMRestoreErrorDomain Error 10 - Failed to handle message type StatusMsg)
[AMRestoreErrorDomain - 0xA (10)".
This iMac Pro becomes blank screen even though power is on.
When we asked Apple support about this condition, they answered
they have no idea about the error
" AMRestoreErrorDomain Error 10" and said that they will accept
repair as hardware defect. We are wondering if we really need to
send it as repair or not.
