Like the title says I bought my developers account 3 days ago and it hasnt been activated. I know that it says it takes 48 hours to process. I was just wandering if this is something I need to contact Apple about? If this is normal please just ignore this.

Depends - where are you located?
Inside the US, +/- 48 hrs is normal; outside, more like 2 weeks.
While you wait, confirm emails from Apple aren't being spammed filtered out of your inbox, and if you're checking online at App Store Connect, you might want to log in/out to help refresh what you're seeing to be sure you're pulling latest info off the backend, etc.
