Do current notarizations remain valid after January 2020?

According to this announcement

https://developer.apple.com/news/?id=09032019a

it is currently possible to notarize code that does not fulfill all the requirements which will be necessary later (no hardened runtime enabled, code built with older SDKs etc.).

As far as I understand this announcement, after that date the notarization process will change so that all the requirements become mandatory. What is unclear to me is: Will the notarizations that I can get now without fulfilling all requirements remain valid after January 2020? Will they maybe become invalid even later?

By the way, does it mean beginning or end of January?

I was able to notarize all my previously released applications and audio-plugins now. There were some notarization warnings about the hardened runtime and older SDKs, but I could run them on Catalina.

Can anybody confirm that these notarizations will remain valid after January 2020?

Or will I have to rebuild everything until then?

Thanks!
