Might be jumping the gun a bit here but I noticed v2 of MusicKit JS is available at https://js-cdn.music.apple.com/musickit/v2/musickit.js and would like to play around with it if possible.
I tired for a bit but was unable to get it working, I'm just getting back the error 'No configured instance'. I've noticed the MusicKit.configure() method has changed from v1.
If it's possible to get this working atm, any help would be appreciated!

Yes, Apple is testing this new MusicKit JS v2 on their beta Apple Music for the web.
It works WAY better than the v1 MusicKit JS - which is, frankly, buggy as ****.
The v1 playback is hit-and-miss on Safari, mobile or desktop (on Chrome is somewhat better but far from perfect). Authentication is ******, doesn't return any kind of persistent user ID for the developer and breaks somewhat frequently. And it has a very annoying bug which interrupts any long track at the 15 minute mark.
Based on my tests, the v2 works pretty flawlessly. But it can't be used by third parties yet.
