I'm downloading 11.2.1 and it says it fixes a crash in UITextView. Why do we need to download 7.8 gig in order to do this???

First take care: 11.2.1 does not solve completely the proiblem. Should wait for a future release.
Why 7.8 GB ? Because XCode imposes to reload everything, there are too many dependancies to do an incremental update.
XCode 11.3 Beta just released. But no word in release notes about UITextView additional correction…
