I've launched this question to the Apple support, but I don't have an answer yet.
we are preparing our app to be released soon, but we have a doubt about the "App Store Review Guidelines".
After registering the app, the user has an account than can be used in different platforms (ios, web ,android, smart TV...). The app allows the user to make voice calls, but before you need to buy credit.
We've done a benchmarking of other similiar apps , and we've checked that tha iOS version allows to get credit with Apple inapp purchases and with credit card. You can see this behaviour for example in "Rebtel" app.
My question is, can we include both payment systems in our app like the other apps do? I guess so, but after reading the "App Store Review Guidelines", I'm not sure. If it's not allowed, We can't include credit card payments and we'll be at a competitive disadvantage.
Thanks in advance
I'm sure that If I release the app now, Apple will won't approve it, however I'm also sure that this payments are allowed for this kind of apps.
I've seen in the forum people with the same questions, but nobody answered them with a clear answer.
Not a lot of information to see if your app is consistent with guidelines. You did write:
> The app allows the user to make voice calls
So you should see this guidleine:
And regarding "other apps get to violate a guideline, why can't I" - that doesn't work.
