Update minimum deployment target

I'm thinking to upgrade my app minimum deployment target from iOS 8 to iOS 9.

Once the update release to AppStore with minimum deployment target iOS 9, will iOS 8 user able / auto update to latest version that cause it unable to run anymore?



We are planning to upgrade our app but worry on our commitment to existing customer.

No, existing iOS8 users will not be able to update to a new version that is no longer compatible. They will continue to run the last compatible version that they have previously installed.
