iOS 13 showing reactions from deleted messages in text thread . How do I fix this

I just updated my phone . I deleted text messages from text threads and normally it would go back to the date from the last text so if I text a person last Friday and I texted them today then deleted the text from today the thread would be pushed back to that Friday . My phone ain't doing that . My phone updated and it's showing reactions for texts I deleted . How do I get rid of it showing the reactions
