Install App with Xcode. Runs but no icon on the home screen upon exit.

Mac Pro (Late 2013)

MacOS: 10.14.6

Memory 32GB

Xcode: 10.2.1

iPhone: 6s

iOS: 12.4

iPhone Memory: 16GB

Free System Memory: 1.53GB

Free RAM Memory: 429MB

The Provisioning Profiles and Certificates are all up-to-date.

The Provisioning Profile is managed by Xcode.

I can run an App in the simulator. When the App exits, its icon appears on the home screen.

When I run the same App on the iPhone, it runs OK. When I exit the App there is no

icon on the home screen.

If I go to: Settings -> General -> iPhone Storage, the App name appears with the

amount of storage used by the App.

As a test. I deleted an existing App from the iPhone (its icon was on the home screen). When I reinstalled the App, it ran but there was no icon on the home screen.

Just had the same issue. A solution to removing the app when you're done testing locally is to go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > [Your App] > Delete App
